Tragedy Strikes Tennessee

Oh Lord, we are in deep sorrow. Today, we come before you with broken hearts, tears, and anger. We come before you today to grieve the passing of a young person, to cry for the loss of someone that who was cherished, and to rage against the sudden death that snatched him from us. You did not make us to die, but rather, you made us to live, to live eternally with you. 

News Channel 5 Nashville is reporting three people has lost their lives in the recent storms in Tennesse. Sad, among the three is a 10 Year old boy . Arlan Coty lost his life when the tornado struck his Montgomery County home.

When Tragedy strikes, we have to turn to Jesus and keep our faith, to remember our loves as they were and to hope they are standing on the side of our savior. We can never give up hope. The story of Job reminds of loss, he lost everything he had, including his children, his health, and his wealth, because of a wager between God and Satan. Job endured great pain and anguish, but never cursed God or renounced his faith. He was eventually restored by God and blessed with more than he had before. You can read Job’s story in Job 1-42.
