part of God's call to Jeremiah, who was a prophet in ancient Israel. God tells
Jeremiah that he chose him before he was born and set him apart for a special purpose.
God has a personal and intimate relationship with his people, even before they
are born. He knows them by name and knows their destiny. He also has a plan for
them and wants them to fulfill it.
This verse shows us that God is sovereign over our lives, and that he has a plan for each one of us. He knows us intimately, and he loves us unconditionally. He also wants us to be his messengers, and to share his truth with others. We can trust God’s guidance, and follow his calling on our lives.
